Now let me start by stating that the Final Fantasy series is my favourite computer games series of all time. I started playing this on the PS1 with Final Fantasy VII, and it ate a large chunk of my life 65 hours of it to be exact before my memory card died and lost the lot. All this did was prompt me to go and play some more and clock up another 76 hours on it. I played on through FF 8, 9 and 10 and can honestly say I have lost weeks of my life to this game and the last thing I needed (or maybe my wife needed) was me to get my hands on the latest instalment but there is was all ready to go, well maybe not straight away.
