A less than enthusiastic review of Grom has been published by Mad Gamers. Their rating is a lukewarm 5.2/10, and their summary tells you why they didn't like the game too much:
Grom squanders its promise with wilful abandon, and ends up as a graphic adventure with no sense of adventure at all. If you want a linear, non-interactive storytelling experience, go read a book: it'll be a damn sight better-told and more instructive than this amateurish travesty. If, on the other hand, you want a tactical combat game, or even a game that's just enjoyable, there are plenty on the market better than this. Ultimately, it's hard to escape the obvious conclusion: Grom is just Grim.
