While it is a tutorial, it is also driven by a narrative. The character that is in demo is not created by the player, instead it is a prefab character that will have the required stats to handle the items provided in the demo. You'll get a taste of things that your puny, beginning character won't be able to handle for some time *cough*Rocket-Launcher*cough*. Systems you'll learn about through the demo include the Two-Ply Interface, Psi Abilities, Weapon Combat, Vendor Interaction, Construction and introductions to several Terminals. Generally speaking, you'll talk with some fine chaps and stomp some nasty baddies. Upon completion of the demo, the player will armed with the basic knowledge necessary to start proper adventuring in Neocron. Yesterday, I mistakenly reported that the demo was not on the shipping Beta 3 discs. It is. But it is not the final version of said demo, and it is not available for distribution.
