Well, you must be wondering just what Sony Online Entertainment is packing into Frontiers to get you to smack your twenty bucks down on the barrelhead this coming November. To start off, players are being gifted with both a new class and a new race. The new class, the alchemist, wasn't ready for prime time in the build that was shown to me at SOE HQ, but the guys behind the game cheerfully explained it to me as a "mad scientist". The alchemist will be capable of mixing potions, both beneficial and harmful. You can hand off the good ones to your party and chuck the bad ones at enemies.
