Deus Ex: Invisible War has been reviewed at Gamepyre where is received a score of 81%:Unfortunately, these ideas were not used to their fullest potential, leaving me feeling like I was experiencing a title in which the developers were just beginning to get their feet wet, rather than dive into the pond and really break some new ground. Maybe with some polishing, and the addition of multiplayer modes, this game could be a gem, but it will never match its predecessor. However, we shouldn’t worry about this too much, with a third installment in the series well into development, which is sure to take it all and build it into a masterpiece. Indeed, what this title could have been should have been – if only the envelope was pushed a little further and more time taken to pay attention to detail. |
