Gold box goodness.

I liked this one more than Pools of Radiance. Stronger story, funner dungeons, more 'tight' area (ie not as much useless map wandering). This was back when a sequel was expected to be BETTER than its predecessor...

awesome game. just awesome.

It's been a long time since I've played this game, but I've always felt it was a winner. I can't quite put my finger on what made it so good, but I know I enjoyed it immensely. Made the Gold Box series what it was - and is.

it is a very good game to play for it's time and strategy of the gold box series.!!!!

Although not as good of a gaming experience then I had playing its predecessor it still remains one of the best times I have had playing a computer game. There where a number of miner improvements from this game, specifically the ability to move across the land faster and the addition of two new classes, paladin and ranger. The game as a whole though was more liner then "pool of radiance" and was really its only downfall.

Part of an excellent series, but the only individual title I cannot remember.

The first "gold box" SSI AD&D game i got my hands on back in the day (on a C-64). Large gameworld, long immersive story, etc. One of the first (the second if i remember) of the "gold box" games, but also one of the best, if not the best.

Another classic D&D SSI game! Most of the early ones were the best of the series!

Frank Einstein has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Frank Einstein)

The best from all "serie"

wsutton2 has rated 7/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from wsutton2)

Another classic gold box game. Loved the turned based system. Probably the best one of the group is pool of darkness with that killer add on dungeon at the end.

Sembiance has rated 9/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Sembiance)

Simply the BEST from the gold box series. Nuff said.
