Take Web Sites to the Next Plane of Existence with Mythica Fan Site Kit

Microsoft Game Studios today announced that the official Mythica Fan Site Kit (FSK) is now available for download at http://www.mythica.com. Mythica is a new breed of massively multiplayer online role-playing game that casts players in the role of an immortal in the mythological world of the Norse gods. The FSK (5 MB) includes everything webmasters need to create a Mythica fan site worthy of the gods:
  • A readme.txt file with helpful information about building a Mythica fan site
  • 4 Mythica logos
  • 3 animations (Fire Caster, Frost Giant and Ogre)
  • 15 concept art images
  • 4 images of Mythica paintings
  • 20 web-ready art images – buttons, borders, frames and backgrounds

Mythica transports gamers into an ancient world of legend. As fallen heroes who have ascended to the afterlife, players set out across the Norse planes of existence on epic quests to earn their godhood. They will endure heroic trials, answer the prayers of the faithful, and eventually gather enough energy and worship to transcend their immortal present to realize a godly future. Standing side by side with the Norse gods of old, they'll attempt to hold back the Fire Giants on the plane of Muspellheim. Mythica is slated for release in 2004.
