I actually played both "Hero's Quest" (the EGA version of this classic) and Quest for Glory I. It was an extremely immersive experience, a perfect mix of many different legends and creatures, all in one. Each NPC had his personality, and the plot becomes more and more interesting as the game develops. I'll never forget the feeling of being in the dangerous woods on my own for the first time.
