The discussions about the future of Entropy continue on the Shadowbane site:
As recently discussed by the Shadowbane Producer, we have been testing how migration works when keeping a server online. So far, all of our internal tests have worked without any issues using the new updated client (which you will be seeing soon). We have to thoroughly test this on a live environment once that build goes live (currently, migration will not work on the production servers). Once that is accomplished and it is verified that the migration works, we will be making a public service announcement that we will allow migration from Entropy during a certain timeframe to the other production servers.

Due to the international population on Entropy, we will have to make sure that this information is correctly relayed to everyone. We would not want players to accidentally migrate to another server thinking that Entropy was going down for good due to miscommunication.

Finally, with the new updates to the client, we will add a new step in the migration process that will confirm the player's wish and include a cancellation of the process if accidentally chosen.

We hope to have this completely tested and announced by week's end next week. We also want to stress the fact that this will not be a forced migration. Entropy will be down during certain timeframes for migrations to occur but it will be coming up afterwards and players who remain on Entropy will have no loss of character or city assets. More information will be forthcoming.
