Eric Wang, Producer of Westwoods upcoming futuristic MMORPG Earth & Beyond, was partner in an interview at MGON. Here's sopmething about player interaction and skills:
MGON : What have you done in the game to encourage player interaction? What measures have you take to make sure the player has the trouble free experience?

Eric Wang : We highly encourage player interaction in Earth and Beyond Online. It is possible to play solo and advance through the game, but the path to success is best followed with others. All the classes have an inherent interdependency, with each possessing specific skills that will help during combat, trade and exploration, so the more that players group together, the faster they will progress within the game.

MGON : Will there be any benefits for someone who specializes in a skill tree as apposed to someone will puts points in all 3?

Eric Wang : Absolutely. A player who puts all his points into one skill set will be the best in that skill. Take combat for example. If the player chooses to specialize in that, he will have access to the best weapons and the biggest engines, but he will lack certain skills, such as the ability to cloak, heal, negotiate, etc.
