Here's their conclusion: Wizardry 8 is a decent, if unspectacular first person hack n' slash. It doesn't have the ease of use and richness of a Baldur's Gate, but it's a nice reminder of where CRPGs came from. More recent RPG fans might not see the charm. If you were one of the ones that sobbed every time Return to Krondor was delayed, you'll go through Wizardry like an adult going through their childhood home. In some ways, it's a piece of living history.
