Officially skies were never necessary, because of the fix camera angle, but with the camera hak from BrandonW, anybody could immediately see what was missing. I'm using the camera hak myself, and I think it adds a lot to the immersion of this RPG, and I'm sure the skies will additionally improve it. Four different skies are already included in the hak: blue skies, rainy skies, thunderclouds and a night time sky.
