GameDaily has smacked up a preview of Imaginary Numbers' turn-based strategical MMORPG 'Tactica Online'.Imaginary Numbers' Tactica Online is a turn-based strategy RPG that takes place during the famous European Renaissance period. Pulling designs straight out of Leonardo da Vinci's art collection, the game's developers have created a fabulously-detailed world where an ongoing battle is being fought between magic, science, and the Inquisition. Playing as one of these three factions, you and your party take on missions from NPC characters all the while battling other players using pre-selected skills. Compete in tournaments where the winning faction will be rewarded with technological or mystical advances, and enjoy future expansion packs that not only continue the epic storyline but also introduce new graphical effects such as seasonal changes. Releasing late 2005, Tactica Online may do what high school couldn't, which is make history a lot of fun. |
