Internal Affairs: Building Muscles

It's been more than a month that I found time to write a new "Internal Affairs". I was rather busy in real life, with some commercials to shoot and others to prepare, and doing news was just rushing to the computer and searching and writing. I admit it wasn't much fun, but doing this has become a part of my life and believe me or not, I am not able to sleep well without updating the site :-). Things will stay that way for the next two weeks, and then I see some light at the end of the tunnel. Moriendor is helping out liuke a champ, and I think it is fair to say that our coverage is as complete as it can be.

Last weekend, I decided to upgrade my computer. I was running an Athlon 1300 for more than 18 months now, and Some of the newer games i like to play didn't perform too well. My mainboard gave me some headache as well, I was unable to run AGP faster than 1x without stability problems. So I decided to ditch the Athlon in favor for a P4. I know it is more expensive, but I never had bad experiences with the Pentiums so far (the Athlon was my first AMD chip - and I would lie if I said that it was love at first sight). Due to money shortage I was forced to reuse certain parts of my old system, but the outcome now is that I have a P4 2.53GHz, 1Gb Ram, a reasonable fast hard disk and my "old" Geforce 4 Ti 4400. Am I happy with that? You bet so :-). The joy of playing Morrowind, for example, is greatly enhanced (yes, I am still playing it, and still a lot). I haven't even overclocked my system since there is no need to do so, I can run my favorite games maxed out without stuttering or glitches. And all of that for an investment of app. $500,-. Not too bad :-)

Regarding the RPGDot network: we are planning to open yet another site soon, the groundwork has been constructed, we are now doing the art for the new site. Expect to hear more about it in a couple of weeks.

That's all for the moment - back to the (rather sparse) news :-).
