Snowblind Studios is developing Champions of Norrath, and it looks a lot like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, which they also developed. Champions is a hack n'slash adventure with gameplay very similar to the earlier title. You choose to play as one of five different race/class combinations, each with male and female avatars. These characters are: Barbarian Warrior, Dark Elf Shadow Knight, High Elf Cleric, Erudite Wizard and Wood Elf Ranger. Each class has different strengths and weaknesses; the warrior's the best fighter, the wizard's the best spell caster, and everyone else falls somewhere in between. One neat addition to the mix is the ability to customize your character's hairstyle, hair color, skin color, and even facial hair and tattoos.
