Ouch: a rating of 3.5/10 is the outcome of a review of Eve Online at Game Chronicles. They rate it high in the graphics department, but low when it comes to gameplay. Their summary:
I have to give EVE credit for its powerful and dynamic economy system. It's the first of its kind that I'm aware of. The world is also very complex - if you want a game where you can do almost anything EVE is it. If you are looking for an economic space simulator then EVE is your game. If you play games to have "fun" go play Freelancer online instead.
(Ahem, Freelancer was fun for some time, I think, but only for some)
