The good reviews for KotOR keep rolling in with the Gamesdomain review now available. The final score is 4.5 stars and here's a snip:
It's difficult to get across how many possibilities are present in the game from the first few scenes. The temptation to experiment with different approaches to each situation is strong, packing a lot of replay value into Knights. When "role-playing game" too often means having to wade through dialogue and choosing between ultimately identical fates, this is a true surprise. Role-playing is essential, and you'll get far more out of the game by staying in character than picking the most amusing option at any given time. For anyone who needs it spelled out, the result is a game where you'll care about what's going on, making any shift from light to dark side (or vice versa) a jarring moment.
