The entire game world is destructable, making for a very flashy combat experience as collateral damage racks up around you. As you deal blows to your opponents where you shoot them will be important and will effect the vehicle's performance. If you focus your fire on the front bumper you will eventually blow it off the vehicle, unlike some other games where visible damage to vehicles is based on how much damage they have taken and will rotate through a series of stock images. In Hardtruck the section of the vehicle that is targeted is the section that takes the damage.
