They take a closer look at this upcoming futuristic MMORPG: While Reakktor Media touts the fact that players never have to fight to enjoy Neocron, that doesn’t mean they have forgotten good old-fashioned conflict Combat in Neocron should please fans of action-RPG games like Deus Ex with its first person shooter style gameplay. Like most FPS games, Neocron uses the typical keyboard keys for people to fire their weapons and move in real time, thus giving the game a major difference from other massively multiplayer game. Player-versus-Player combat is limited to The Outzone regions of Neocron and the Wastelands (few to none of those pesky Copbots are in those areas) and players can buy a number of weapons ranging from pistols and rifles to more advances items like robotic drones. Heading out to the Wastelands also means dealing with some rather nasty creatures as well as humans.
