Gamer's Pulse has reviewed Atari's D&D: Heroes for the Xbox. They were obviously impressed, giving a score of 41-45/50 and an Editor's Choice Award:
While hack and slash gaming may sound easy, its anything but. Certain creatures are susceptible to certain attacks; for example, skeletons can be damaged by holy water, while a venomous snake is not. These enemy weaknesses will play provide you with a distinct advantage when face with hordes of creatures. The same is true when the creatures themselves attack you. Various creatures have different combat attacks that range from magic absorbing traits to heavy area effect poisons sure to drop the largest of warriors.
