CRPG.ru has written a review of the MM9 beta. Beware - spoilers galore. Here's their short conclusion: Besides the annoying monster respawn, the series' spirit has been preserved. The changes look good and do not break the overall picture. Location sizes are still large, so the explorers will have something to do, although we do not know how many locations will be in the game yet. The controls have improved and won't distract you from the game.
