Gamespy has also posted a preview of Deus Ex 2 - Invisible War and here's a little about DX2's AI:
The revamped AI will also add immensely to the experience. AI characters seem more aware of the player than ever before -- even something as simple as staring can provoke responses. ("What're you lookin' at?" one man said when the demo player's gaze lingered on him a bit too long. If the player had continued staring, the AI might have gone aggro.) Path finding has also been totally redone, so characters will be able to navigate the world with ease. Best of all (at least in the eyes of grizzled Deus Ex veterans), the enemies no longer know where you are at every given second. This little tidbit's important, obviously, if the greatly-expanded stealth gameplay mentioned above is going to work.
