 ‘Mimesis Online’ is a fully 3D online role-playing game set in the far, far future on a planet that some believe was once Earth. Six hundred years before the events of the game, a cosmic-scale cataclysm took place, the effects of which reached out into many separate realities. It was an event that crushed universes, made millions of species extinct, and left behind a fragile, harsh world inhabited by survivors of each of those old, now-destroyed universes. The game focuses on the descendants of those survivors, as they try to restore their civilizations and survive. They and their ancestors have had to learn to cope with many changes and challenges, and the greatest of these challenges is just around the corner. The truth about the past is about to rear its ugly head, and the events of the coming years may mean new life or utter destruction for the beings on this beleagured planet. The game will take players through the story of these troubled times in a multi-player online environment. Characters can observe the unfolding events or become key players in them – the choice is theirs. |
