I loved this game. I loved the setting, the story (heh... I'd say they swiped the story from Gladiator, except that Dark Sun was out nearly a decade before the movie), the dungeons. Not for everyone... but definately for me.

Great setting. Loved playing a half-giant gladiator. A bit flawed, but unlike Daggerfall, the flaws are not what I remember the most. Was one of the first games to support my Gravis Ultrasound :)

Another good rpg!!! Seems like older crpg are better. y?

Really fun; good graphics for that time.

HiddenX has rated 9/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from HiddenX)

cool story - be sure to play with the latest patch, the original version has a lot of bugs.

I only wish there were more games set on Dark Sun. Great setting, very good game.

Arax_TheBold has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Arax_TheBold)

A great game, the graphics where top notch for its time and the game setting could not get any better. There was however a lot of dead ends and useless searches and the mysterious magic axe hiding behind a bucket in some sewer drain.

Lamrok has rated 4/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Lamrok)

Buggy and not overly compelling.

Madbones has rated 9/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Madbones)

I truly loved this game. It came in the middle of the huge RPG drought (1992-1996). This game was really the precursor to Baldur's Gate. It had a very similar interface and gameplay, just with 320-200 graphics :). Great game for the time.

Prometheus has rated 3/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Prometheus)

This game, while playable, did not help to make the CRPG drought any better. Too buggy, and just not that easy to get engaged into to.

Gollum has rated 7/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Gollum)

Good title and during its time one of the best choices arond besides replaying Ultima7 for the nth time. The game had flaws, but the originality and atmosphere of the setting made up for a lot of those. Not sure if I'd reccomend anybody playing it today, there are better classics to catch up with, but if you already know all the classics Dark Sun wouldn't be a waste of your time...

Great RPG, quite unique in it's setting. It was on a games magazine CD and I was very suprised to find this quality type of game there :)

Elbkhm has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Elbkhm)

Perhaps one of the best AD&D rpgs ever made, right up there with the goldbox games.

Addison has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Addison)

Possibly the best game ever. Deffinently before its time. Brought in a new era to RPG's.

Hellbishop has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Hellbishop)

A very convincing savage brutal world. It actually felt like i was there and when one of my fellow adventurers bit the dust in this desolate wastelands of scantly clad amazons and overly muscular barbarians i felt sad.Recent games of the past two years have not gotten me as emotionally involved as Dark Suns did.One of the classics.

BooRadley has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from BooRadley)

Fantastic, completed it back when it was released, I remember lots of areas to explore great plot for back then and great control over your characters.

I really enjoyed this game when it came out. There's nothing quite like having a hasted Thr-kreen ranger dual-wielding in the final battle!

Excellent game. Gameplay and story were superior to many recent rpgs.
