The Neverwinter Vault has reviewed 'Fall of the Empires Book II: Whispers of Rebellion v 1.05', a new fan-made module for 'Neverwinter Nights'. Rating: 7.5/10.
Set six months after the close of Book I, Fall of the Empires Book II: Whispers of Rebellion has your character working to pay off your debt of freedom. I hesitate to go into too much detail, as it will spoil the ending of Book I which was recently reviewed. Suffice to say, your efforts in Book I have not gone unnoticed. Your benefactors are working behind the scenes to aid the resistance. Once you have proven your mettle, the real work begins! There is a bit more combat this time around, but the story is still the focus. The visuals are no less outstanding than in Book I. In fact, you will need to have the Book I hak files installed, which is mentioned but easy to miss at the module download site. My game partner (more later) was 'stunned' with all there was to see in the module, which made the multiple hak files easily justified.
