After their preview (story), Gamers Pulse has now put up an interview with designer and producer Gabriel Dobrev, reponsible for Celtic Kings. Here's a bit for you:
GP: There are a total of 55 units in Celtic Kings, what are some of the more notable ones that players will want to try out?

Most units have special abilities that make them very effective under specific circumstances. Here are a few of my favorites:

Gaul Woman Warriors - Trained during their entire lifetime in a monastery like environment the woman warriors are elite warriors - expensive to come by but excellent in skill. If their enemy has less than 50% health they kill it with a single blow.

Praetorians - used to guard the senate and the emperors of Rome. The Praetorians have excellent training and perfect equipment. They reflect the damage received, so every warrior that hits them gets hit back with the same strength. There is no such thing as flawless victory against Praetorians.

Gaul Horsemen - The nobles among the Gauls fight on horseback. Charging towards the enemy the Horsemen do 6 times more damage to the first warrior they hit.

Roman Hastati - as new recruitments the Hastati were placed at the frontline of the Roman legions where they formed a wall with their large shields. They have the ability to completely hold against the first strike of the enemy without taking any damage.
