Brash has stated that the Morrowind for Kids Mod will change from being a mod accesible from Morrowind to become a new world apart from it. In his own words:
I have given it a lot of thought and done a lot of investigating into it, and I've decided to switch MW4K to a Total Conversion mod. It will not run alongside Morrowind, but instead be a whole, complete huge universe with no real overt connection to Morrowind. It will not be compatible with Morrowind existing characters, and probably not with 99% of mods.

It's obviously going to delay the project, I am guessing till summer but I should know better in a month.

I have several reasons. One is that currently the project feels cramped and staged; I feel like it's a tramcar thrugh an amusement park with fences to keep you from seeing that the entire ride is jammed into one little lot. Morrowind's version of Disneyand. That's not the goal I was after. Another is that it's a little laggy trying to stuff things so close together.

But the main numbr one reason is -- because I want to. This is the project I always wanted to do; the reason I first bought Morrowind was for this obsession to be able to create whole entire universes.

There'll be a lot of other changes, but it will still be a fantasy setting designed with an appeal for children as well as adults, and the main characters will still be Moogles, Dragons and Pixies. In fact, none of the regular Morrowind races will exist.

He's posting some impressive pics too, with pixies, dragonians and, well, this things...
