MMORPG market editorial @ HomeLAN Fed

HomeLAN Fed's John Callaham has devoted his A Few Minutes of Your Time column to the difficult MMORPG market, in the wake of another cancellation:
If you have been following the MMORPG scene, you know it has been a brutal year so far. Several high profile titles from major publishers and developers have been cancelled before they even launched this year, including Microsoft’s Mythica, Electronic Arts’s Ultima X: Odyssey, Game Workshop’s Warhammer Online and just last week Codemasters’ Dragon Enpires. Also, EA announced the shut down of another MMORPG, Earth and Beyond, this year and another MMOROG, Horizons, is suffering through the bankruptcy of its developer Artifact Entertainment.
