More info about Micirosofts upcoming MMORPG Mythica can be found in the second part of the preview at Gamespy. On seven pages, they tell you about some new concepts for an MMORPG, making the game more accessible to players who like to solo or play in small groups:
"One thing that stood out to us was that the only real game in the MMPs was leveling your character and socializing," said Joel Manners, lead game designer. "That's a lot of fun, and the social aspects are very compelling, but you never get the feeling of being important or unique, and the world is definitely less complex and compelling than the best single-player RPGs. Bringing that single-player level of reaction and complexity to a wide-open public sandbox is extremely difficult. There are just too many people doing too many things all of the time everywhere. That's why we came up with the idea of creating our private realms to take Mythica to the next level.

Wilson maintains that the idea of private areas is not meant to only solve the problems of other MMOGs, but to bring a single-player game experience and objective-based gaming in to the MMO realm. Adventuring through the private realms allows a player or small group of players to achieve certain goals and get experience points for playing the game in character. If a character is based on stealth, they get experience for achieving a goal in a stealthy manner. In other words, role-playing.
