UK-based Jolt has tossed up a review of Ascaron's action RPG 'Sacred'. Rating: 9/10.Sacred is a humongous game, and it's one that can be approached from a number of different angles (although viewed from only one, ironically). It depicts a fairly standard medieval fantasy realm during a time of strife – all thanks to a snivelling necromancer who accidentally let a powerful demon out of its containment. As a result, evil has leaked into the world causing the undead to rise, monsters to attack settlements, and mercenaries, cultists and other ne'er-do-gooders to be overcome with bloodlust. |
