EGCore has reviewed 'A Tale in the Desert'. It's a glowing article with a score of 9/10:
There is always something to do in A Tale in the Desert, from making bricks, to brewing beer, to fishing. You can go around to different places learning new skills or learns skills through the teachings of other players. Teaching a new skill can take some time, however, some may only take a few lessons to learn while others can take upward of twenty. You can only be taught or teach a lesson every ten minutes, depending on what the lesson being learned is. If you go to school or a university to learn them, though, you will be taught the entire skill in one lesson. Schools require you to have certain items (tuition) to learn a new skill and school-bought skills cannot be taught to other players.
