Freelancer Review @ Wargamer

The Wargamer has posted a review of Freelancer. It's a mixed article and although there's no score the reviewer obviously found it a bit hollow:
As for non-combat missions, Freelancer doesn't have those either. Every single mission a player will experience is combat-related. There's no Trader's Guild or similar place to get hauling missions from, as in Privateer, for example. As this is usually one of my favorite aspects of these types of games (i.e. making money), it's a shame to see it get such a lousy implementation here. This, in turn, reduces the game to one combat encounter after another, which can get boring after a while.
