Is not a game for everyone.
If you want a fancy looking game to put your brand new graphic card into work, forget it.
This is no Morrowind and it doesn't pretend to be.
This is an old school solid rpg, with a nice depth, many hours of gameplay and a captivating storyline.
I spent many hours with this game till I finnished it and I sometimes still replay it for fun.
If yhe idea a quality game that is charming and addicting although thecnologically (very) outdated doesn't scare you, you'll like this one.
I certainly recommend it... |

This game is amazing. I loved hos intricate the sotory was, and the character customization was incredible. Sure the graphics aren't super Modern, but since when do you by a game just for the graphics? Definatly a game every RPG'er should at least try. |

A fantastic game - great storyline, interesting quests and characteres. Nearly all the NPC's (besides guards) have something to say. I love exploring in RPG's and the Avernum series certainly delivers. I quite like the graphics though they are a bit small. Interface can be a bit annoying if your mouse doesnt have extra buttons on it. IMO A2 is the best of the three Avernums. If you're into RPG's this is one not to be missed. |
