A little late on that one, but I spotted at RPGPlanet that Unknown Player has conducted an interview with Daniel "Savant" Manachi from The Themis Group, doing community relations for Anarchy Online. Here's a bit from that interview:

*Somebob* Do you directly communicate with the players through the boards, or advising Funcom on how they should post?
*Savant* Our first month here, to get the ball rolling, I was directly posting on the forums and directly interacting with the players. Currently, I've taken a more backseat role and have been more of a mentor to the CR Team and working on more "background" stuff.
*Savant* I do stuff like re-write the patch notes, make sure the "In Production" section is current, etc. as well.
*Somebob* Yeah, I've definitely noticed the patch notes had a... distinctly different touch than before.
*Somebob* and In Production actually seems to hold some bearing on reality.
