GameSpy has kicked up a report on the 'World of Warcraft Battlegrounds with two editors writing some thoughts after spending some play time. Here's the intro to the 5-page article:Since the launch of the World of Warcraft Battlegrounds on June 7, PvP-mad players have been flooding into the two new regions of Azeroth that are specifically designed for player-vs.-player combat. Alterac Valley is a massive instance where 40 Horde and Alliance players on each side vie for possession of a strategically important piece of real estate, and battles for control can take six to eight hours to complete. Warsong Gulch, on the other hand, is a smaller instance for those who don't have that much time. It's a game of capture-the-flag where 10 players on either side try to accumulate three captures while preventing their opponents from doing the same. |
