Redwyrm Game Info |
|
Description: |
Form their website:Redwyrm is an online roleplaying game, represented graphically using coloured and detailed textures of the scenery and characters, including yourself.
Redwyrm will be available on the internet for download. Download sizes should not be a problem and will remain relatively small.
Redwyrm runs on low 'spec' systems. This also makes it easy to put on to notebook computers for portability.
One of the most pleasing features of Redwyrm is the speed it runs over the internet. The software has been optimised where possible making it small, resource efficient and practically lag-free. Other mmorpg's are likely to freeze for up to ten seconds due to latency, something that does not happen to Redwyrm. (Note: Low lag games will always be our top priority, but the current version, though seeming fast, has not been tested with huge amounts of players. In theory it will run as fast as we hope, but this remains to be tested with significant numbers of players).
Redwyrm is extremely versatile and easily upgraded. In just a few weeks, hundreds of new items, spells, weapons and even entirely new systems can be created. We give the players the chance to say what the next improvements should be. (Note: This is a feature from the old version of Redwyrm, The new version should improve on this, however it is difficult to comment on this so early).
All necessary instructions are given with the Redwyrm download.
While in demo stages the software is free to download as each version is released. When a full version is made the demo version shall remain freely available.
Any charges made for a full version should not be much more than US $30.00 (or GB £20) as a once-off payment (no monthly charges). |
