It's been a while since we heard about Richard Garriott's latest project, Tabula Rasa, but in an interview at Gamespy he mentions his upcoming MMORPG, together with some bits about Lineage and City of Heroes. ere's a bit:
GameSpy: So … can you talk about Tabula Rasa, on record?
Richard Garriott: A little bit. It'll be a little vague, we're only one year into development of a three year project. We're definitely in full production, the tools and technology are in place and we've finished the three major components: the editor, which we'll continue to expand. We now have the full ability to build worlds and maps. We've finished the client, the render pipeline and the communications, and the server back end. Literally today on all the desktops across the company there's a little icon you can click on and you can run around and play the game. Of course, right now there's very little game behind it, there's very little artwork.
