While delays are always disappointing, its still much better than getting a game that is a bugfest or poorly balanced.
Vircom Listens to Black Moon Chronicles Players
(Montreal, November 8, 2001) Vircom has decided to extend the beta test period and postpone the retail release of its online RPG game Black Moon Chronicles – Winds of War. Since the first beta opened October 4, 2001, players and fans of the game have provided useful information regarding gameplay, and Vircom listened. Consequently, the company plans to incorporate many of the features suggested that will further enhance and improve the players’ experience of the game. Black Moon Chronicles is now scheduled to release in March, 2002.
In the meantime, beta servers will remain open to allow more feedback from players and to showcase the latest Black Moon Chronicles’ implementations. In fact, a new patch was released earlier this week to introduce new features, such as overhead data and brand new cut scenes. Since many improvements will continuously appear in the game, players are invited to visit www.blackmoon-online.com often.
