The game play, using the Havoc 2 engine, is mainly in the form of you inside your vehicle, road warrior style. You get periodic breaks from the driving and killing to perform some actions in towns or at repair stations, but the brunt of the action is your killing machine of a vehicle. You have a much customized vehicle at that, of course. Customization comes from things like power sources, tires, weapons, and trim and colorization patterns. While blasting everything to kingdom come and all, you manage to collect an assortment of materials and parts. These can be used to modify your vehicle and also contribute to the crafting aspect of the game.
