Arx Fatalis: 7/10 points |
A fun game, great atmosphere. Definitely does not deserve a 10 when compared to other great RPG's (Fallout, Torment, etc), though. Too linear for me, which is reflected by the total lack of choice in dialogue. You cannot play a good, bad or ugly character -- only the character they have scripted. |
Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 10/10 points |
I fell in love with this game (and Fallout 2). Fallout has become the measuring stick I use to compare all of the many other RPG's I've played since. Some have come close to it, but none has supassed it's creativity, depth of character development and open-endedness. |

One of my very favorite games along with Fallout. Longer and bigger than Fallout 1 -- who could ask for more? :-) Let's get a Fallout 3!! |
Jagged Alliance 2: 9/10 points |
What can I say? THe very best tactical RPG I've played. A must-play game. Just wish the music wasn't so repetitive. Get complaints from the wife :-) |
Planescape: Torment: 9/10 points |
About halfway through now and really enjoying it. GREAT story -- interesting and thoughtful. Only thing I don't like about it is the AD&D system (not sure why at all why it's so popular in CRPG's - I much prefer SPECIAL). Definitely a must play. |
