@Play Why was Dungeon Siege II delayed?
Chris Taylor: Primarily because it's huge. It's a huge game. It's massive. We have some people playing the game, working through both primary and secondary quests, and they're coming in over 70 hours.
And also because we wanted to get the production value up there. Microsoft Game Studios and the Games for Windows Initiative are both saying let's not ship anything that we're not completely proud of. Let's try to get a game out there that doesn't need a patch. Well, invariably you need patches because of hardware changes, but let's not ship a game that we're immediately going to go and say God, now we've got to patch it. We just really wanted to get it the point that, right out of the box, people would say, holy cow, this is great.
