Liquid has made War of the Ring very easy to just pick up and play, thanks in part to the use of only two resources, ore and food, to gather and collect to make your buildings, units and upgrades. Units like dwarves. rangers, and even the moving trees are available for use for the good guys and bad guy units like orcs and more can be used when playing as the evil forces. Building special structures and upgrading your central building will allow for upgrades to your units, such as better weapons and armor for your units as well as adding special abilities such as increasing your line of sight for your rangers and creating fire axes for your dwarves. You can also create and control specific Rings characters like Frodo, Aragon and more in your armies and they have their own special abilities.
