Here are som goodies from the Freedom Force forums, collected and cooked by Voodooextreme:
Ok, Super Hero Freak: You won't be able to walk inside buildings, you can however be blown through them, fall off them, stand on them, destroy them and throw things at them. The hero has all attacks currently available to him active and ready for use at all times. Can be lots No news on a demo soon, except there is an aid for skinning characters in development. No word on how long that will be.
Knight Shift: The power customiser, you choose from a selected list of powers. Not sure what you mean about the kind of system the hero creation is based on sorry. A points system. Your characters will be part of the team as if they were pre-gens, except that they will not be mentioned in the speech etc. It currently works on how much prestige you get from a mission, to how you can advance your chr. You can throw stuff at Innocent Bystanders, torch them, freeze them, blow them up, rescue them.... it just goes on. Will hurt your prestige to KO them all though as much fun as that can be.
Aftershock: The heros are totally under your control. Part of the reason for having 4 heros is to centralise the gameplay. Big prob with giving the heros that sort of AI is that they may finish a mission for you whilst you are getting a drink from the fridge.
Bitgolem: A hero with super speed will still cost the same EPs to do stuff, but they will regen faster.
Myrmidon: No multiplayer info yet sorry. You can create a lone wolf hero if you like, but you will have to control him at the same time as your other heros. The equipment weapons are what comes with your character. One does have a sword though. Saving/loading is anytime anywhere right now.
Aftershock: There is a chance of auto pause, I will see what I can find out. I don't think it is planned at this stage though.
SHF: You can have a max of 4 heros in one level. You can choose which you take, however, there is usually one or two heroes you must take into some missions. | Source: Voodooextreme |
