Hogshead is well know for it's Warhammer FRPG. Lidiumonline interviewed their CEO James Wallis.One of the things Hogshead is well known for, is Warhammer FRPG, and with the release of Realms of Sorcery, the interest in it must have gotten a tremendous boost?
Absolutely. Realms of Sorcery has sold faster than anything we’ve ever released before, and the whole system has had a boost as a result. That hasn’t really carried over to our other product lines, which is a shame – we picked up SLA Industries from Nightfall Games because we felt it had a lot of things in common with Warhammer FRP: a unique twist on an established genre, a dark sense of humour, lots of good violence and really interesting bad guys. Sadly the crossover market has never really developed. Which is weird in a way, because so many gamers will buy a new game from a company whose earlier games they know and like, even though it’s in a different setting with different rules, by a different designer.
