Swen "Lar" Vincke, project leader of his very own company's highly anticipated fantasy RPG Divine Divinity -which is supposed to squeeze the best of Diablo, BG, and Ultima VII into a single game- has taken some time to post the latest so called playbits to the offical developer forums. Be on the look-out for two posts near the end of the page, dealing with skills, level-up's and more.
Here's a snip (don't know about you but this new skill really sounds like it's going to be more fun than the Duke's* freezer weapon *gg*)
And next playbit, inspired by a tester: Play as the survivor, learn the "deadly gift" skill which allows you to use booby traps. Now acquire as much "scorpions of death" as you can. These are caged metallic scorpions which you can buy or find around the world. If you open the cage, the scorpion comes out and starts crawling around the dungeon, searching for enemies to kill. Enter a dungeon where you know you're going to get a beating (he applied this to a dungeon which is notoriously crowded and hard for low level characters), hide in shadows. Position yourself on a place where you know you'll be hard to see (prefrablly a place where they'll never see you) and unlock the scorpions.
*for kids: "Duke" = the main man from 3D Realms' 'Duke Nukem 3D', a sort of cool FPS that was released a little more than half a decade ago ;) |
