Avernum 2 Review

Gone Gold reviewed Spiderweb's shareware RPG Avernum 2. In case you don't know it, Avernum 2 is an RPG that might lack some nifty graphics but makes up for it with excellent gameplay.
    Clearly Avernum 2 is not going to be for everyone and I'm not going to pretend that it is. If you think back fondly to things like the Gold Box series and wonder why they don't make RPG's like that any more, Avernum 2 is your solution. Graphically it isn't much better than those games, but the play is going to be just what you're looking for.
