It's not often that RPGVault does a review - but now they have picked Asheron's Call - Dark Majesty. Their review is quite positive, and it carries a lot of screenshots. Here's the last paragraph, stating that AC is an ever changing game, and that the expansion is well worth buying:

In a world that is constantly changing, Asheron's Call may look nothing like I've described in a month. New content and features is always being added. As in many other online games, powerleveling and grief players exist, but if someone is looking for a game to have fun in, Asheron's Call may just be the ticket. It is relatively inexpensive. The expansion costs $20 and includes a free month. This is basically two years of updates and changes to the original game, along with the additions of housing, storage and the new island, for a very small price.
