RPG Vault has a short review of Mythic's upcoming Warhammer: Age of Reckoning as seen as E3 2006.
Commendations
Mythic has ample experience and expertise creating online worlds in which PvP is a major element; this game will have four types. The underlying property has a unique personality, combining familiar elements with a quirky sense of humor within a dark fantasy setting where splendors often reveal flaws when examined closely. It also has a large international audience, which suggests there's potential to attract new players to the category. Based upon what has been shown to date, the visuals will be both appropriate and attractive, with broad latitude for visual character customization. The combat system, which has two types of special moves, tactical and morale-based, looks likely to provide a nice balance of fun and suitability to various play styles plus a modest learning curve.
