The talented storytellers at BioWare built their reputation on developing games that completely immerse players into their role-playing games. Jade Empire is no exception. Firstly, it is important to note that Jade is an original intellectual property created in-house by BioWare. Their previous hits benefited from built in fanbases that would play the games out of devotion to either Star Wars or Dungeons and Dragons. BioWare is taking a risk with launching a whole new sandbox to play in, but the Jade Empire is a fully realized world inspired by Chinese mythology, Kung Fu movies and comic books.
