Here are, in short, the latest Dungeon Siege reviews: Florida Gaming Network rates it 8.6/10 and has this to say:
DS is one of the best RPG’s out right now and should be competing with some RPG classics like Baulder’s Gate and Diablo II. I recommend everyone check this game out. Even those who enjoy FPS and other Genres should run to the local Best Buy and pick this up. I really love this game, and its 150 levels that im going to beat very soon because im addicted to this game. Once again, I think everyone should get out and give this RPG a chance!
GamesDomain gives it 4.5/5 and says this:
If there was ever a game that made you want to attempt just one more strength level or reach one last destination before bedtime, this is it. Dungeon Siege is simply one of the most addictive and enjoyable games around.
Last, but not least, Game Revolution has an A- as score and these final words:
Personally, I've been having a great time playing this advanced dungeon-crawl. I remember being impressed long ago when old-school RPGs first made life easier by adding a "pool gold" button, so Dungeon Siege's monumental ease-of-use is particularly impressive to me. Some people may be turned off by the initiative of the party, preferring to control all the little details. Not me. My throat has been spared hours of shouting, and once again I'm free to concentrate on the larger issues... like having fun.
